Why was there no large amount of European settlers migrating to the East Asian Colonies?

The obvious answer is before air conditioners people who lived in temperate climates moved to temperate climates. Why do you think there are so many Scandinavians are still living in Northern Michigan and Minnesota? Also there were many more opportunities in North America than elsewhere.
