How could I get to Smoky Mountains from Asheville without a vehicle?

I want to go on a hiking trip in the Smokey Mountains. I would get there by bus, but as far as I know, the closest station is in Asheville, which is still considerably far away from the park. Does anyone know of a bus shuttle or something similar that could get me all the way to the park? I'd rather not have to walk all the way.
