Is it worth it to breed crickets for 1 bearded dragon?

Also how should I go about breeding them. I have done all of the research on how to do... but how many should I start with and should I just get a bunch of them breed some and feed some off... or should I start a colony before I get by dragon and make sure I can keep it stable... and how many should I use to breed with
