What kind of makeup should i wear with a red dress? Quick help!!?

I want to do a smoky eye but i dont know what kind of colors to use. Would a purple and black be good? idk. im not good with makeup. pls help and give detail!!!!!! PLS!!!!!! i have 4 hrs left!!
