Should I practice my graduation day make-up or just do it before graduation and hope it turns out? Any tips?

I would practice first. Watch some tutorials on youtube and try it out before you go to graduation. As for the makeup itself, a smokey silver might be too much. I would stick to soft browns and taupes; lighter shades though.
